- Stock #xxxx23 - Custom Built by a USCG MASTER CAPTAIN and craftsman!I admit, before I viewed this customized and upgraded CRESTLINE dual-Pontoon boat I did not know what to expect....but as I spoke to the builder/owner and looked it over, I found the boat and the owner very impressive! The builder, a United States Coast Guard Master Captain of 17 years, began with CRESTLINE pontoons, then designed and custom-built everything else. This is one of the best built pontoon boats I have ever seen. Super strong and sturdy, with a nearly indestructible hand-laid fiberglass exterior. The deck structure is 3/4" high-grade plywood. The Captain explained that he did not use Marine plywood because the chemicals cause any paint or fiberglass to de-laminate in short order. He applied multiple coats of resin to both sides of the decking. The deck was then covered with multiple ( 9 ) coats of "HAND LAID" fiberglass. The deck is extremely sturdy and bolstered underneath by additional aluminum beams. Seriously, walking on the deck is like walking on concrete....super solid! The bait and fish well is equipped with a high volume raw-water pump and it works great. The material is cabinet grade plywood. It was sealed, then received multiple coats of hand-laid fiberglass. Like the deck, the bait & fish well lid is super strong...you can safely stand on the lid with complete confidence. The thoughtfully designed area under the roof has built in seating in front, a very roomy interior room large enough to lay down in. Loads of storage. All the electronics are EASILY serviceable from inside the room. The CAPTAIN area is clean, all instruments are well placed, all switches include "red light" on-off verification. There is even a red dome light for night use mounted in the CAPTAIN's area.Heavy duty 100% rotational pedestal chairs with built-in recessing drink holders.Deck lighting is tastefully built into the structure.Heavy duty rod holders ( see pics ) are super strong....can easily be removed by removing the nuts and bolts attaching them. The roof is just as strong as the deck.....the owner fishes off the roof top! Also, the roof area is surprisingly large and can safely support several adults. The pontoons are" heavy gauge" and include brass drain plugs! Everywhere you look you see the attention to detail of the Master Captain and craftsman that built it. Interesting note....this is the 5th boat this Captain has built. She is approximately 26' from the engine to the bow.Use your imagination..........what could you do with this very cool boat??Please submit any and ALL offers - your offer may be accepted! The underside of the boat ( see pics ) reveals multiple coats of resin over the plywood decking. Essential aluminum deck support struts are seen in the pics.
The handlaid fiberglass is extremely well done.....everywhere I looked I saw perfection in craftsmanship! The CAPTAIN said the fiberglass is approximately 1/4" thick. This structure will be very low maintenance and will endure the elements for many years.
The FORCE 2cycle engine by MERCURY, a 120hp workhorse, was just serviced. Compression was checked and found to be perfect!. New Impeller, new fluids, etc.
Hours unknown, but the engine runs terrific!

Finally, this boat has NEVER seen saltwater, but, would make a fantastic salt-water fishing rig.
